The Story of Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson was born as Pamela Denise Anderson, in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada. Even at the beginning of her life she already started making headlines...(she was the first centennial baby in the town) Born on the 1st of July 1967, she grew up to be a wild girl. She recorded in her diary "I'm going to be a virgin until I'm 19" to fool anyone trying to take a peep at her diary.  Her father, Barry Anderson had a job as a furnace repairman, and her mother Carol, was a waitress, but she grows up to the credit of her eccentric grandfather who instills her with what she claims as a "New Age Way of thinking" - a philosophy that includes "a fascination with mythology, fairy tales, crystals, meditation, and dream interpretation. "Her life's ambition, according to her high school yearbook, was to be "a California beach bum." It turns out that in her teen-age years, she is an excellent athlete, especially in volley ball. She earns the nickname as "Rubber-Band" for her flexibility, especially in sports. Her star starts to rise as she moves to the city of Vancouver, Canada.

The Rising Star

It was in Vancouver, Canada, 1988. The Andersons move to feel the life of the big city. They move from the small city of Ladysmith to Vancouver. There Pamela starts her career as a fitness instructor. In 1989, while she attended the professional football of the British Columbia Lions, the lady of fortune took her side. The friend that took her to the game was a representative of Labatt's brewery. She attends the game clad in the brewery's T-Shirt. The eyes of the cameramen spots her and sends her picture on the big screen, enlarging her image. The fans cheered the beautiful girl, and she was brought down to the 50-yard line and introduced to the appreciative crowd. As a result, she was signed to a commercial contract with Labatt's and became the company's "Blue Zone" girl. The campaign was so popular that other commercials and advertising assignments for Lee soon followed. Soon afterward, the lady of luck took her to a higher place, Playboy calls her, and she makes the cover in October 1989. Her popularity starts to get the attention of some TV producers. So, she gets the opportunity to take a small part on some TV shows.

Journey of Career

It is because of those small TV shows that she is made famous. She began her TV career in Los Angeles, starring on the TV show "Home Improvement" as Lisa, the Tool Time Girl. It was on "Home Improvement" that she captured the attention and affection of viewing audiences nationwide. She also appeared on Married… With Children (as a bimbo),  and, of course, Baywatch (C.J., the Speedo girl), and she also revisited the cover of Playboy (she's appeared on the cover more than any other woman). It was her appearance in Home Improvement that make David Hasselhoff try to convince her to take part on the "Baywatch" that he produced. He convinced her, the show made a big success, watched on more than 140 countries and this causes Pamela's name to soar high into orbit. She  also starred in other shows including "The Taking of Beverly Hills", "Snapdragon" ,"Raw Justice", "Mike Hammer", and "Velda". Not long afterward, she starts to make a movie, "Barb Wire", which was released in the spring of 1996, acting the role of a futuristic post-feminist action hero, which tanked at the box office. . In addition, Lee was featured in the CBS movie-of-the-week, "Deader Than Ever," a hip and updated Mike Hammer mystery, co-starring Rob Estes. She recently co-starred in the television movie "The Evolution of Mr. E.," adapted from the H.G. Wells short story, where she portrayed a quirky sculptor/artist. Recently she starred and produced her own TV show, VIP (Vallery Irons Protection) which she acts as a dumb figure head, but winning the trust of most of the celebrities she protects.

The Marriage

1995 held other surprises as well for Pamela, one of which was a husband! On New Year's evening in 1994, Pamela was attending a party in New York where she met Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. He came right up to her and licked her face! They talked off and on and after he begged her several times for her phone number, she finally gave in and let him have it. Tommy called Pamela over and over again for the next few weeks trying to arrange a date and in the first week of February 1995, he succeeded only to be cancelled on at the last moment. He wasn't about to give up on Pamela though, she'd been called away to Cancun, Mexico to do a photo shoot for her sun-tan lotion line and Tommy, determined to win over Pamela at any cost, followed her.
After four days of courting and endless parties, the two were married on a beach. Pamela wearing a white bikini and Tommy wearing a set of shorts. After returning to L.A., they had wedding rings tattooed on their fingers. Pamela's says "Tommy's" and Tommy's says "Pamela's". The got remarried for fun in silver space suits with friends there "just because".

Bizarre Stories

It is the wedding that people talks about the most. She married Tommy Lee, Motley Crue's drummer just after four days they met. Regarding the bachelors of Hollywood she has dated: Dean "Superman" Cain, Sylvester Stallone, and Scott Baio, this was quite strange to her family. They were married on the beach — the groom wore swimming trunks, the bride a white thong bikini.

They have a very bizarre attitude on their marriage, recorded that they made a movie about their wedding and honeymoon, and then somehow it is distributed by the internet all over the world. It was also recorded that they suspend a swing over Tommy's piano, so he can compose a music while Pam swings naked over his head. Their life together came to a halt after several incidences involving Tommy's harsh behavior. The couple tried to make it work, but after several scrapes, and a period of Tommy's incarceration in jail, the couple has completely called it quits. Pamela is strong though and is doing here finest to provide a good life for the couple's two beautiful sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee.

Pamela is currently continuing work on her "VIP" series. She lives with her sons in California. Quite a life Miss Anderson has led. With all of the ups and downs, hits and misses, she keeps an optimistic attitude in all she does. No doubt she will remain in the spotlight.
